The Time Warner Towers at Columbus Circle in Manhattan were evacuated today after suspicious packages were mailed to CNN offices. The S&P 500 index fell another 3.09% in trading today (now firmly in correction territory, having dropped cumulatively more than 10% since the recent peak), with bond yields sliding on weak housing data, and the yield on 10-year USTs reaching nearly as low as 3.10%.
